Usually, I keep things simple in winter. I'm too busy trying to scrape ice off of my car and stay warm at times than to perfect my look! I came up with this simple, quick, yet effective winter palette that is easy yet improves my overall look. This palette works for day and night events, dates and work!

You will need:

• Ben Nye Media Pro Ultralight Highlight Cream
• Make Up Forever Full Cover Concealor
• Make Up Forever - M664 Fawn (Matte) Eyeshadow
• Kat Von D Tattoo Liner - Trooper Ink Black
• BUXOM Full On Lip Polish - Andrea/Glimmering Nude
• NARS - Taos, Desert Rose Blush with Shimmer
• Hourglass Opaque Rouge Liquid Lipstick - Raven, Orange/Red
• bareMinerals Matte Foundation Powder broad Spectrum SPF15

STEP  BY STEP TUTORIAL:

Step 1: Apply dabs of your Make Up Forever Full Cover Concealer on the face, focusing on problem areas. Go light with this. We're going for a fresh, natural face. Your bareMinerals Matte Foundation Powder broad Spectrum SPF15 will cover other imperfections later.

Step 2: Apply Make Up Forever - M664 Fawn (Matte) Eyeshadow to the upper lid all over lightly, and then in the crease. Swipe some lightly on the lower lid as well.

Step 3: Apply Ben Nye Media Pro Ultralight Highlight Cream to the lower water line of the eyes, lightly to the upper cheek bones, lightly above the lips, and below the brow arch. Blend well!

Step 4: Apply Kat Von D Tattoo Liner - Trooper Ink Black in a sweeping cat eye to the top eyelids.

Step 5: Apply NARS - Taos, Desert Rose Blush with Shimmer to the apples of your cheeks, sweeping outwards lightly towards your ears. Also dab a little of this into the crease of the eye to bring these colors together and add warmth to the look.

Step 6: Apply Hourglass Opaque Rouge Liquid Lipstick Stain,  Raven, Orange/Red to the lips. Allow to dry 3 minutes then apply BUXOM Full On Lip Polish - Andrea/Glimmering Nude over top. This creates a warm, spice-like toned and glittering lip that will protect lips from the elements! Also looks warm and sultry.

Step 7: Apply bareMinerals Matte Foundation Powder broad Spectrum SPF15 to the entire face lightly, swirling your brush as you do. This foundation is amazing and will set your makeup, and improve your skin's appearance and texture.

This look took me about 10 minutes to apply! Very fast and effective, great for those on the go and especially for those like me who have a car to dig out of the snow before they head off to an event!
