Jewel tones and grays are all the rage right now! So I decided to try out a dark yet sexy look with a pop of purple.

Urban Decay eyeshadow in Psychedelic Sister  ( $18.00 )
Make Up Forever in Platinum Eyeshadow ( $21.00 )
Make Up Forever in Black Purple Metallic Eyeshadow ( $21.00 )
KAT Von D Tattoo Liquid Eyeliner in Black ( $18.00 )
Buxom Full On Lip Polish in Brittany ( $20.00 )
Make Up Forever Gold Glitter in Yellow Gold  ( $15.00 )

STEP BY STEP TUTORIAL:

Alright folks, so obviously here I have a strange hair disorder and I have no eyelashes or eyebrows. However this is great for showing you just how makeup can transform your looks, how simple shading can enhance features you make not like and it's of course great because you can see exactly what I'm doing. 

Step One: The first step to this look is to apply a steely gray shadow to the upper and lower lid, making sure to blend outwards. I used Make Up Forever Eyeshadow in Slate.

Step Two: Apply a lighter grey shadow to the middle of the upper lid and along the waterline of the bottom lid. Blend the upper lid out to meet the grey tone you used. I also added some lighter grey to the outside of the crease and blended out towards my brow area slightly. I used Make Up Forever in Platinum, Eyeshadow.

Step Three: Apply two shades of purple shadow to the crease. Apply a lighter shadow in the crease blending outwards followed by a darker purple in the crease. Then, blend slightly outwards. I swiped a little of the lighter purple on the bottom lashline too.  I used Psychedelic Sister from Urban Decay as the lighter purple and Make Up Forever.

Step Four: Apply another layer of the two purple shadows. Then create a thick cat eye! After that apply glittering gold shadow to the bottom lashline. I used Kat Von D Tattoo Liner in Black, and Make up Forever Gold Glitter in yellow gold!
