It's officially Spring! I couldn't be more excited to say goodbye to Winter and hello to warmer weather! It's time to switch up my makeup routine and incorporate some lighter, brighter colors.

Today's MOTD is all about a light purple ombre lip using Anastasia Beverly Hills new Lip Palette. I am obsessed with this palette! I love lipstick so much and I'm always experimenting with trendy, bold colors so this palette was a no brainer for me in terms of value. I love a good green lipstick but let's face it, I'm not going to wear it all the time so why spend $20 or more on a lipstick when I could own this palette and literally make whatever color I can dream up!

GET THE LOOK:

For this lip, I mixed together shades #8, #9 and Primary 1 (White) for the all over purple color and then I added some Primary 2 (Black) to the mix to darken it up and I used that to line my lips and blended it in with the rest. Finally, I added some straight White to the center of my lips and blended it out to highlight and add more dimension. I love how it turned out and it was so simple to achieve!
