Hello guys and girls!
In this tutorial I'm going to show you a very simple way how you can create cool lip art looks without shelling money to buy a thousand different lipglosses and lipsticks. I love the popular unusual shades on Instagram - but let's be real - I'm not going to wear them on a daily basis. This is why I'd rather make my own shade when I want to make lip art.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED:
Pigments or loose eyeshadows - MAC
Spatula
Clear Lipgloss - MAC Lipglass
Steel Palette
Lipbrush - Sigma L05
Glitter - optional
Studs, tiny diamonds, pearls - optional
STEP BY STEP TUTORIAL:
Step 1) First you'll need to pour a small amount of lip gloss on your metal palette. I'm using MAC Lipglass, because it's rather sticky and longwearing.
Step 2) Then you'll need to mix it with the pigment. This is completely safe since MAC pigments can be worn anywhere on your face and body - eyes, cheeks, lips. I use a steel spatula to make a homogenous substance.
Step 3) You can also mix some glitter in it like I did here.
Step 4) Then you can use your favorite lip brush to apply the mixture on your lips. Apply it gradually - you don't want too much because it will drip.
Step 5) You can add some cool decorations to your lip look too. I used tiny pearls to embellish the look - these are typically used for nail art.
This is the finished look!
I hope you found my first tutorial useful. 'Til next time!
