Spring has officially sprung here in Toronto and I couldn't be happier! The weather these last few days has been so gorgeous and lovely and it's definitely inspiring me to change up my makeup routine to include some lighter and brighter colors. I can't give up my dark, vampy lips completely because I love them too much but I do gravitate towards brighter colors in spring and summer, most of the time.

Todays MOTD was inspired by Leah Carmichael (@iamleah) and her Pastel Goth Tutorial on Youtube. I love my Pastel Goth Palette so much more than I anticipated I would considering I almost didn't buy it. But it was released on January 10 and my birthday is January 11 so I figured it was a sign that it would make an excellent birthday gift! I am so happy I did purchase it because I actually use it all the time. I use them mostly as transition shades when I'm doing colorful looks but if you put down a white base or really pack the shadows onto your brush you will get an amazing color payoff! So versatile.
