I'm a big fan of Matrix's Biolage line, which is a more natural version of their basic Matrix products. The Biolage line is so luxurious and I tend to try out everything I can when they come out with something new!

A few months ago, Matrix came out with "Repair Inside" Shampoo, Conditioner and Leave in Treatment. This month, Matrix Biolage has come out with a dry shampoo (finally!). I snagged this dry shampoo immediately, it's only been on the market for seven days! Here I'll go over all four of these products and tell you what I thought.

Repair Inside: Repair Inside is a fairly new, professional line from Matrix Biolage created by Brazilian hair experts. These products are low in PH, created with soy, infused with Arginine oil, and a perfect hair regime for anyone with damaged hair. I tried out all three products in the line!

Repair Inside Shampoo: This luxurious shampoo is perfect for anyone with damaged hair. Natural, or colored this shampoo is perfect for most hair types.

Official Brand Description: Formulated with Arginine and Soy, Biolage Advanced repairinside Shampoo cleanses and conditions severely damaged hair to help restore suppleness and shine.

My Personal Description: This is a shampoo that's major focus is repair and shine. It's perfect for anyone with split ends, dry hair, and chemically damaged hair. This product will help you get healthier hair and repair the damage you've already done all while shampooing.

Packaging: This product comes in two sizes, a retail size in 13.5oz and a Liter size. It's a basic shampoo bottle type, that stands well and is pretty sturdy. No problems here on that. The cap is square, and flips open. Doesn't tip, doesn't leak.

Price: The 13.5oz bottle will run you about $20.00, while the liter runs about $26.00. Not too bad since it's guarantees repair and better shine. If you're a licensed cosmetologist you can also get it whole sale. 5/5

Accessibility: Available at Cosmoprof, most salons, Regis salons and even some wellness chains like Rite Aid and CVS. Easy to find, easy to spot. 5/5

Smell: This shampoo has a pleasant smell that resembles something fruity, like berries. You can also smell the rich aroma of the Arginine oil. The two fragrances are apparent but not too strong on the hair. Overall a nice smell. 5/5

Texture/Lather: This is a thick, lathering shampoo that is very creamy, sudsy and rich. It's a pearlescent white tone when it comes out of the bottle, and easily makes a nice lather that leaves your hair feeling clean but also soft. 5/5

Special Features of this Product: This product not only makes the hair appear healthier, but actually repairs it internally for actual structural repair of the hair. Many unprofessional brands have heavy waxes that make the hair appear smoother and healthier, but in actuality do nothing for the real health or repair of the hair shaft.

Ok for Everyday Use?: Yes! Unlike many repair shampoos this one is Keratin free and safe for everyday use for as long as you'd like!

Tips and Tricks: Use it with the Repair inside conditioner and the repair inside cream for faster results in repairing the hair!

Overall Review: This is an easy to find, easy to use, pleasant smelling, rich lathering shampoo that you can use everyday to improve the health of the hair. Its three piece regime makes creating a repair plan for your hair easy, and it's professional grade additives of Arginine and Soy make your hair stronger from the internal structure, out. Great product! No complaints! 5/5

Repair Inside Conditioner: This rich conditioner is the perfect partner to the Repair Inside shampoo. It repairs the hair from the inside out, and is safe for all hair types.

Official Brand Description: Formulated with arginine and soy, Biolage Advanced Repairinside Conditioner imparts rich conditioning to help restore suppleness, shine and movement to severely damaged hair. Recommended for repeated chemically and mechanically damaged hair. Compatible with all hair types.

My Personal Description: This lightweight, effective, creamy conditioner repairs the hair from damage especially when used in unison with the shampoo and leave in cream.

Packaging: Like the shampoo, it comes in a standard conditioner bottle that is fairly sturdy, doesn't tip and is easy to use. It also has a square lid that flips open, just like the shampoo. No issues here! 5/5

Price: For a 13.5 oz retail size you will pay around $21.00, for a liter size you may pay around $26.00. Pretty good value, a little goes a very, very long way. Cosmetologists can also get it whole sale. 5/5

Accessibility: Available at Cosmoprof, most salons, Regis salons and even some wellness chains like Rite Aid and CVS. Easy to find, easy to spot. Usually it's right beside the Repair Inside shampoo. 5/5

Smell: The smell of the conditioner is very similar to the shampoo, except it is less berry-like and smells more reminiscent of the Arginine oil within it. This was alright for me, not unpleasant, but the shampoo smelled better. 4/5 

Texture/Lather: This conditioner is thick, not runny, and very creamy. It is white in shade, and easily melts into the hair while conditioning. Not to thick and not too liquidy. This product is easily worked into your most damaged strands with no issue. Also, miraculously, didn't weigh the hair down, very light weight. I didn't expect that with the arginine oil. 5/5

Special Features of this Product: This conditioner guarantees up to 75% repaired hair strength after one use when using the system of repair inside Shampoo, Conditioner and Intra-Reparative Control Cream.

Ok for Everyday Use?: Yes! Keratin free so you can use it whenever you like for as long as you'd like.

Tips and Tricks: On damp hair, apply this conditioner heavily as a mask, let sit for 15 minutes, then wash off for a more intense, deep conditioning treatment.

Overall Review: This is a lightweight, effective, professional grade conditioner that can also double up as a hair mask! It didn't weigh my hair down, and left it significantly healthier feeling, healthier looking, shinier, and soft to the touch after one use. Other than the smell that was fine, but not as nice as the shampoo, I loved it! 5/5

Repair Inside Leave-in Cream: Biolage Repairinside Arginine + Soy Intra-Reparative Control Cream is part of this three step, dedicated repair system with arginine and soy, for damaged, breaking hair. Use this as your last step after conditioning for added strength and repair, AND faster results!

My Personal Description: This is a triple threat! Use it as a repair leave in, a detangler, and a thermal protectant! This product is almost like the "magic" product of the repair inside trio. When used as a trio, Matrix guarantees up to 75% improved structure of the hair from damage after one use, that's huge! You can leave this in, or simply apply it in the shower for 10 minutes and rinse off. Whatever you prefer.

Packaging: This product comes in a round bottle with a pump cap. You just pump the product out. The bottle is sturdy, not cheap, and the product dispenses easily from the pump with no clogs. 5/5

Price: For a 6.7oz bottle you'll pay around $19.99. Cosmetologists can get it whole sale however. Not bad, you don't need a lot of this for it to go a long way! It should last you a while. 5/5

Accessibility: Like the Repair Inside shampoo and conditioner, it's available at Cosmoprof, most salons, Regis salons and even some wellness chains like Rite Aid and CVS. Easy to find, easy to spot, as it is usually right next to the other Repair Inside products. 5/5

Smell: This product has a light, pleasant scent of rich berries. Not too fragrancy, not too potent. It's subtle, but noticeable and not a negative at all. 5/5

Texture: This product is an off white, medium thickness cream. It is not runny at all. It is not a spray, and rather a pump bottle for this reason. It's thickness however doesn't weight down the hair. Apply it on wet hair, and blow dry for the best results. 5/5

Special Features of this Product: You won't have to purchase a separate heat protectant with this, because this repairitive leave in doubles up as one! Apply on wet hair and blow dry, then flat iron. It protects as it repairs from mechanical heat damage!

Ok for Everyday Use?: Yes! Keratin free, so you can use it daily! Doesn't weigh the hair down.

Tips and Tricks: Mix this with the Repair Inside conditioner for an "ultra" mask. Leave on damp hair for 15 minutes, and blow dry the mixture into the hair with your dryer on a low heat setting. This will really force the product into the hair shaft, repairing it. Wash out for smoother, healthier hair!

Overall Review: This is a fantastic product that has multiple benefits. Easy to use, easy to find, easy to dispense and safe for everyday use this leave it will repair your hair and protect it from continuous heat damage all at the same time. You'll also get an added shine. Lightweight, smells great, no issues here. My favorite out of the trio for sure! 5/5

Dry Shampoo: Recently ( seven days ago!  ) Matrix finally introduced a dry shampoo to its line! It had non before that! Now, Matrix Biolage has two different dry shampoos. Matrix Biolage Waterless Dry Shampoo - Clean & Recharge Ginger Root Flower, and Matrix Biolage Waterless Dry Shampoo - Clean & Full Mint Leaf. I did not purchase the Clean and Recharge Ginger, and instead went with the Clean and Full Mint Leaf. The Ginger Root Flower is perfect for absorbing excess scalp oils while the Mint Leaf is more for cleaning the hair while adding volume. I'll probably end up trying the Ginger later on!

Official Brand Description: Refresh hair after work, after the gym, or on days when you don't have time for a regular shampoo. My Personal Description: Clean your hair on the go with a simple spray of this new Biolage Matrix Dry Shampoo!  Matrix Biolage Waterless Dry Shampoo - Clean & Full Mint Leaf gives you a quick, clean feeling and clean scent without water all while not weighing down the hair! Prolong the life of your style for second day, lived in texture or the life of your blow out without water!

Packaging: This product comes in a round bottle a push spray cap. You just pop off the clear cap, and press the white spray button to expel the product. No clogs, no issues. Very easy to use! 5/5

Price: You'll pay about $17.00 for a 3.4oz spray bottle. Not too shabby, as the bottle is fairly large and a little seems to go a long way. Cosmetologists can get it whole sale! 5/5

Accessibility: Like the Repair Inside trio, this dry shampoo and is available at Cosmoprof, most salons, Regis salons and even some wellness chains like Rite Aid and CVS. This dry shampoo is BRAND NEW, so don't be surprised if you can't it at first! Some stores may not have it out yet! 5/5

Smell: The Clean and Full Mint smells exactly like sweet peppermint. Very nice, clean scent that isn't overpowering but is very subtle and tingles a bit pleasantly when you use it. Love the smell! No alcohol smell! 5/5 

Texture: This is a very clean, light product that doesn't leave behind a thick powdery feeling. It also doesn't leave behind that dreaded white tint that some dry shampoos leave behind. Not itchy, not irritating, not thick or powdery. Just very light and clean. Works exceptionally too! 5/5

Special Features of this Product: This product infused natural mint to add volume to your hair instead of weighing it down when you use it. There's also no alcohol scent, which can plague many dry shampoos. This dry shampoo is also color safe!

Travel Size: No

Ok for Everyday Use?: Yes! This product will leave your hair feeling clean after a long day or while you're on the go. It also will help you retain your style the second day you wear it.  Eventually, you'll want to actually shampoo your hair though of course!

Tips and Tricks: Spray this dry shampoo at your roots after a workout or a long hard day to eradicate any sweat-like smells or odors! The sweet peppermint is extremely pleasant!

Overall Review: This is such a wonderful addition to the Matrix Biolage line! My hair absolutely felt clean, had no odor, and felt full and more voluminous. I will definitely use this after the gym, or work! I'll also have to try the Ginger out, but I adore the peppermint scent so far. Great product that will leave your scalp feeling clean and smelling fresh while aiding you and keeping your hairstyle for a second day. 5/5
