I'm loving adding some shades of purple to my look lately and this gold, light purple and bronze palette paired with a berry lip is also perfect for the season!

This look is perfect for professional or casual settings.

Enjoy my tutorial below!

YOU WILL NEED:

  • Urban Decay Eyeshadow in "Flash" bright purple ( about $19.00 )
  • Urban Decay Eyeshadow in "Gravity" deep violet shimmer ( about $19.00 )
  • Urban Decay Eyeshadow in "Half Baked" golden bronze ( about $19.00
  • Kat Von D Tattoo Liner in Trooper - ink black ( about $19.00 )
  • Becca Shimmering Skin Perfecter in Moonstone/pale gold highlight ( about $38.00)
  • Sephora Collection Color Lip Last in Brown Is Black/pinky light brown ($14.00)
  • Nars Blush in Unlawful - amber pink with pearl ( about $30.00)
  • Ardell Lashes in Demi Wispies - Black ( about $3.99 )

STEP BY STEP TUTORIAL:

  1. After applying your favorite face primer and foundation to your face, apply a bright purple shade with lavender undertones such as Urban Decay "Flash" all over the eye. Swipe heavily along the bottom lashline. Smudge and blend.
  2. Apply a metallic golden hue with a bit of shimmer such as Urban Decay Half Baked to the inner and middle areas of the upper eyelids. Make sure to leave some of your bright purple shade visible on the outskirts of the upper eyes and subtly blend your gold shade into it. You want to leave some purple to give it a pop!
  3. Apply a deeper, darker purple shade such as Urban Decay "Gravity" to the upper crease and blend, blend, blend! Apply this shade subtly, it's just there to give some definition to the crease of your eyes.
  4. Apply a black liner to the upper eyes and a clean sweep. I used Kat Von D liquid liner in "Trooper."
  5. Apply some natural looking lashes in a black shade to your top lashes. I adore Ardell's brand of lashes because they come in an array of options and are comfortable for all day wear. I used Ardell "Demi Wispies."
  6. Highlight your cheekbones with a shimmering, pale highlight with a hint of gold. I used Becca Shimmering Skin Perfecter in Moonstone. Also swipe this under the arch of your brow to define your brows and to give you more of an awake look.
  7. Define your cheeks a step further by applying a blush in a deep pink shade to the hollows of your cheeks. I used NARS blush in Unlawful because I love the amber undertones. These tones look great with the lipstick we're about to use. Blend, blend, blend and buff, you don't want any harsh lines.
  8. Apply a taupe or brown based lipstick with a hint of pink to your lips. This may be a tricky pick depending on your skin tone. I chose Sephora's Collection Color Lip Last in "Brown is Black"  because of its undertones. You don't want a chocolate shade, but you don't want a pink shade either. Somewhere in between. Buxom's full on Lip Polish in "Sydney" would also work.
