STEP BY STEP TUTORIAL:
- You can use any liquid lipsticks, today I'll be using Sleek Makeup's Lip creams in three different shades. Begin with a bright red and apply to the point of the top lip right below the cupid's bow.
- Then, apply the next shade. Make sure the second shade has a nice contrast between the first shade so that it is noticeable. I used a plum-ish fushia shade. Apply right next to the red shade creating a 'v'.
- Apply the third shade right next to the second. Your top lip should almost be complete.
- Apply the last shade, I'm using pink, to the center of the lower lip. Use the top lip as a guide to connect the outer corners.
- Then apply the second shade, purple to the outer part of the lips.
- Finally apply the first shade, the red to the outermost part of the lips.
- Once the liquid lipsticks have completely dried, it's time to make the lips have a pop art feel to them! Using your liquid black liner, outline the lips entirely.
- Then, draw small diagonal lines on the upper lip between each color. Take your time creating small thin strokes.
- Repeat the process on the lower lip, except this time the direction of the lines will be like a half moon shape.
- On the lower lip, I decided not to bring the black all the way in and had the black line fade out.
- Optional: To add some sparkle to the look, I repeated the steps with gold glitter liner.
