Hello glams!
Today I have one of my favorite nail art designs I've done so far. Watercolor and chevrons in one. Super fun design for the spring!
Here it is:
Products Used:
Base coat, Nail Vinyls, OPI- Alpine Snow, Essie- The Girls are Out, Essie- Naughty Nautical, Essie- The More the Merrier and Top Coat
Step by Step:
Step 1: Start with a layer of base coat and two coats of OPI- Alpine Snow.
Step 2: (Now everyone does watercolors differently. I'll just explain how I like to do them.) On a piece of aluminum foil, add a few drops of Essie- Naughty Nautical, Essie-The Girls Are Out and Essie- The More the Merrier (in that order, separately). Then add two or more droplets of acetone on top. I used an oval brush (any brush will do) to mix together the mixtures. Then add a few splotches on the base.
Step 3: Using Step 2's mixture, add a few splotches of Essie-The Girls Are Out (it really doesn't have to be perfect, just have fun with it.)
Step 4: Add a few splotches of Essie- The More the Merrier, to finish the look.
Step 5: Once the shades is completely dry, place the Nail Vinyls (depending how long the nails, I used three). Secure the vinyls and apply one coat of OPI- Alpine Snow.
Step 6: While the polish is slightly wet, gently, remove the Nail Vinyls. Lastly, sel the deisgn with a thin coat of top coat. That's It!
FINISHED LOOK:
