Hello loves!

I'm back! Did you miss me? 

I'm sorry about the lack of posts in August but I spent three weeks on my summer vacations in Croatia and I was preparing a lot of material for you, but my internet connection didn't allow me to upload new content and post regularly :-/

Anyway, I'm in Italy now, working on editing all the videos that I filmed for you :-)

First off, I prepared a vlog, I'm bringing you along with me to a touristic town Rovinj in Istra, Croatia.

Istra is a region situated close to my region and Rovinj is just a 2 hour ride away from my hometown.

My hubby and I decided to be a bit more adventurous this summer and visit some new locations, search for new beaches and just enjoy our summer :-)

I really hope that you're going to enjoy watching my "Postcards from Rovinj" vlog!

Here are just a few facts about Rovinj:

"Rovinj is a city in Croatia situated on the north Adriatic Sea with a population of 14,294. Located on the western coast of the Istrian peninsula, it is a popular tourist resort and an active fishing port.

The main economic activity in Rovinj/Rovigno is tourism and during peak season (May-September), its bars, restaurants and art galleries work long hours, while operating limited hours off-season.

The busiest area is the very centre of Rovinj/Rovigno, extending from the main bus station towards the old part of town, where most bars and clubs are located.

The town's main central thoroughfare is the fully pedestrian Carrera Street, with many independent shops and art galleries. A farmer's market is located at the edge of the historic part of town, near Valdibora Square.

According to data compiled by Istria Tourist Board, Rovinj/Rovigno is the second biggest tourist destination in the county, in terms of overnight stays."

We enjoyed our walk through the narrow streets of the city centre and walked our way up to the highest point where the Church of St. Eufemija is situated and from where there is a breathtaking view of the sea and the nearby beaches!

Our doggy Lancia accompanied us all the way, so she also participated in this vlog and sent you a big kiss from Croatia! :-)

Later, in the afternoon hours, we went to the beach and stayed there, chilling and sunbathing, until the sunset! It was the perfect day and I hope we managed to bring you some of its atmosphere through this video/ vlog!
