Hey dolls,

Ultra Violet is the Pantone Color of the Year for 2018. For some, this shade might be intimidating especially if you often pick up a neutral color palette when it comes to makeup.

In my last post, I created a bold metallic eye featuring the shade Ultra Violet which was a pretty dramatic look.

For today's look, I went with a soft and wearable glam version which is a great alternative for neutral lovers as well.

STEP BY STEP TUTORIAL:

Step 1:  Begin with a brown base. I applied Colourpop Liquid Lip in Limbo all over lids.

Step 2:  Pat on Musk, matte beige, all over the brown base. I used the Huda Beauty Desert Dusk Palette.

Step 3: Then, apply Saffron, matte burgundy, to the crease and blend upwards towards the brow bone.

Step 4:  Blend and soften the edges with Desert Sand, matte ivory.

Step 5:  Apply OUD, matte brown, to the entire lower lashline, outer 'v' as well as the outer crease area.

Step 6:  Apply Twilight, textured pink, onto the center of the lids and the brow bone.

Step 7:  For a pop of color, layer Colourpop Super Shock Shadow in Dare, neon purple with hot pink and violet glitter, onto the center of the lids.

Step 8:  Apply metallic rose colored eyeliner to the lower waterline. I used Impala Waterproof Lipliner in 219.

Step 9:  Layer a reddish coppery liner over the rose liner. I used Sephora Crayon Gel Pencil Intense in 06 Rich Copper.

Step 10:  Apply, Blood Moon, textured copper, to the center of the lower lashline.

Step 11:  Smudge Turkish Delight, textured cranberry, beneath the lower lashline to create a multi-dimensional look.

 Step 12:  Finish with lots of coats of your fave mascara. I used L'oreal Paris Voluminous Mascara in Black.
