Inspiration comes to me in strange ways. The other day I was using nail vinyls which are very fun to use! They are also very pretty since they mostly come in silver holographic form. I was looking at the left overs from the vinyls - and then it hit me! Why not incorporate them in my new manicure? 

In case you don't know what nail vinyls are - here is a close up. They are basically stencils that you apply on your nail and then paint in the empty spaces. But what makes the empty spaces is left over on the base. So those are the main stars of this manicure *pun intended*

WHAT YOU NEED:

For this manicure, I choose a few brighter colors since I am a bit sick of the darker shades that are so popular right now. I chose OPI Alpine Snow for the base. Essence Orange Is The New Black and China Glaze Too Yacht To Handle will serve as the other base colors.

I also added some glitter in the form of Essence Disco Disco, I choose those since they tie everything together since they feature different sized silver holo glitters, that match the stars I used from the nail vinyl I got from Born Pretty Store.

STEP BY STEP TUTORIAL:

Step 1: Apply a base nail polish.

Step 2: Apply the other 2 nail polishes, you can apply them with a sponge or with a stamper, like I showed you in my previous tutorial HERE.

Step 3: Apply the glitter nail polish. Make sure there is still space for the next step.

Step 4: Apply only a few stars so you can see how they look on the nail.

Step 5: Apply even more of the stars to fill up the empty spaces. Don't be scared to use them since they act like any other nail stickers. At the end use a lot of top coat since they are a bit more 3D than the usual stickers or decals.
