Hi guys!
Today I bring you the Special Video of the Week. This one, as you can read in the title, will be a Tutorial created specially for the blog (since it won't be on YouTube, there will be no video for the tutorial).
If you need a more detailed tutorial or a video tutorial, please feel free to let me know in the comments, below.
TUTORIAL:
- All you are going to need are two ingredients:
 |
1/2 an avocado (if you're also going to use it for your hair, then use 1 avocado) & a tablespoon of olive oil |
 |
A mixer, blender or even just a fork |
Preparation:
- Remove the seed and scoop out the avocado with a spoon into a bowl, as bubz shows in her video
- Mash it with a fork
- Add a tablespoon of Olive Oil
- Either mash it with a fork or blend it to obtain a more soft/liquid-like texture
Recommendations:
- Apply it to your face with a foundation brush
- Let it sit for 20 minutes
- Take it off with a sponge (no scrubbing)
- For your hair, wash it carefully and apply hair conditioner
- Works on all types of skin
- Doesn't increase the oil on your skin
- Refreshing & smoothing
This face/hair mask is something that I'd been thinking about a lot. Every time that I searched on the internet a face or hair mask, it always contained lots of different products or not easy-to-find ones, and most of them contained avocado, that I had never tried out (not even eaten). So I had never been able to try any one of them.
Finally, I decided to surrender when I found
this one on bubzbeauty's
channel because it seemed easy to do and, to her, it gives pretty good result.
When I finally went to do it, surprise! I had run out of bananas! So I thought "what the heck, I'll do it anyway!" So I decided that, as I had read that olive oil had great properties for the skin and hair too, I would mix it with olive oil instead of a banana, and voilà! It turned out to be a complete success!
My skin was amazingly (even I could not believe what I was seeing/touching) soft and renewed and my hair just shined like a thousand suns xD
A week after I tried it with banana and my skin just dried out and felt rushy and awful so I'm doing my own version from now on.
Please, let me know your impressions/thoughts/experience about/with this hair mask in the comments below as I would love to know if it was maybe a problem with my skin at that moment or maybe it happens to more people.
Question: Do you use natural masks? Which ingredients you think are the best for your type of skin?
Well, that's all for today, so see you tomorrow with the inspiration post of the week.
Till then...Be happy & keep smiling!
