For today's post (& youtube video), I'd like to share with you my recent nail polish haul!
I'm a big fan of nail polishes, my nail polish collection is an ever-growing one, as I like to experiment wearing different colors on my nails, and, depending on the season, changing my favorite ones for the new cool shades! :-)
Recently I picked up some lovely spring colors from different brands, but mostly from Essie, Essence and Debby Colorplay (Italian brand).
I got the Debby one as a gift in a fashion magazine! It's the magnetic effect nail polish (which I'm not a big fan of, but the color is so pretty, I decided I'm going to wear it without the magnetic effect!), shade is # 13 "Cancer" (Zodiac inspired collection).
Then, at my local drugstore, I picked up two beautiful nail polish colors by Essie. Now, Essie is quite expensive brand of nail polishes (one nail polish retails at 10-11€), but I managed to grab one of the shades for 70% off, and it was the shade "Fashion Playground". I was so thrilled with this find, even more so when I got many compliments on this color on my nails!
The other color I picked up from Essie was "Lilacism", it wasn't on sale, but I couldn't resist to this gorgeous lilac shade for Spring.
I have to say, I love essence nail polishes! They're so affordable, great quality, amazing color selection and always up-to-date with the newest trends!
I got gel effect nail polishes (clear base & top coat), for this at-home-gel-effect, without using a lamp!
I'm super pleased with the results, as my nails now appear stronger, extremely glossy, any my nail polish lasts longer! essence nail polishes range from 1.50- 2.50€, which makes them super affordable and accessible to everybody :-)
This season, they released some gorgeous spring/summer colors! At this moment, I picked up the shades 08 "whatever!" (the candy pink one), and 37 "serendipity" (lilac/grayish), both of them gorgeous!
I also couldn't resist to this highly talked about shade, 32 "the black cat", which is a latex matte, black nail polish. It may not be very spring/summer inspired color, but I think black goes well all year round...something like red lipstick! ;-)
This shade is supposed to be very fast drying, and if you want to, you can spice it up with some cool glitter polish on top!
