Last Sunday, I shared this makeup look on my facebook page. Because you guys liked it, I decided to do a tutorial on it.
The makeup technique is quite easy. I used the 120 palette in case someone wants to recreate the look, the colors are easily accessible.
In the image below, you can see I only used six shades:
|1| taupe, |2| deep brown, |3| ivory, |4| lilac, |5| violet, |6| light pink.
PICTORIAL:
STEP BY STEP TUTORIAL:
- Prep eyes with foundation and powder to cancel out any darkness. Follow with an eye primer and blend well.
- Apply taupe eyeshadow to the brow bone, blending upwards. Then apply a deep brown eyeshadow in the crease.
- Highlight the brow bone with an ivory eyeshadow. Then apply a cream base to the entire eyelid area to create a base for the eyeshadows.
- Apply a lilac eyeshadow to the lid area and blend any harsh lines.
- To intensify the color, layer a violet eyeshadow over the lilac and blend.
- Apply a light pink eyeshadow to the inner corners. For the lower lashline, apply the lilac and violet shadows mixed together.
- Then, apply black eye pencil to the waterline and define the eyebrows.
- Apply black eyeliner to the upper lashline and follow with mascara. Apply false eyelashes for a dramatic look.
