I feel like the new Sephora Pro palettes are the surprise of the summer because they came out of nowhere but wow, are they good! I had to have the Warm version as soon as I saw it because it's like the Urban Decay Naked Heat Palette, Natasha Denona Sunset Palette and Colourpop Yes Please! Palette all came together to create this gorgeous lovechild that is the Sephora Pro Warm Palette. As someone who owns none of the palettes listed above this palette was really calling out to me!

The palette retails for $85 CAD at Sephora which is a very steep price for Sephora Brand but it does come with 28 shadows in a range of mattes, shimmers and glitters. It has every shade you need to create a complete look and you can definitely create a really nice range of looks as well. The packaging is gorgeous and very sturdy with a gloriously large mirror to see every nook and cranny of your face in.

I am really impressed with this palette and the pigmentation especially. One thing you will notice immediately is that there is kick back from the shadows in the pan and there is a lot. It's annoying, yes, but is it a problem unique to these palettes? No. I have lots of brand name palettes that do the same thing so it's hard for me to be mad at this palette about it. The only issue I see is that the shades in this palette are housed pretty close to each other (unlike most high end palettes I own) so the kickback can get into the other shades if you're not careful. However, none of this translated over into use as I didn't notice any fallout on my face when applying and blending.

Ok, enough of the one con I've found so far for this palette and on to the good news. This baby is so pigmented it's not even funny. The mattes are so smooth and buttery and blend out so well on the eyes that it's just a dream to use. None of the shades got muddy on me and all of them wore so long on the lid and lasted all day. The two glitter shades are definitely a bit of a dud but aren't glitter shadows almost always a dud in most palettes?

If you're a makeup artist or someone who doesn't own many warm tone shadows then this palette is definitely for you! I am going to pick up the Editorial Palette as well (when I can afford it!!) because it too calls to me and I love this version so much. Kudos to Sephora Brand for stepping up their game!

Will you be grabbing one of these palettes? Let me know which one in the comments below!
