Review: Too Faced Glitter Bomb Palette

Too Faced recently released their new Summer '17 collection, which included the Glitter Bomb Prismatic Eyeshadow Palette! This palette contains 8 shades of pressed glitter shadows and 2 base shades, which are essentially a black and white eyeshadow. The palette retails for $54 CAD and can be purchased on their website, as well as at Sephora.

I haven't been a huge fan of Too Faced's recent releases so I was a bit hesitant when it came to this palette. I honestly went back and forth for days on whether or not I should purchase it but decided to pick it up because I have nothing like it in my collection and I have been looking to add more glitters to my collection. This is palette an affordable and convenient way to do so!

To my pleasant surprise, I absolutely loved this palette! I'm so happy I ended up purchasing it because it's so beautiful. The shadows are the perfect finishing touch on any eye look and just make your eyes sparkle and pop. I have used the shadows with glitter glue and without and both times I loved the results. If you're going to go without glitter glue I recommend using the shadows wet.

I'm also really happy they included the two matte base shades as well because you can actually make a complete, albeit simple look using only this palette. I used the black shadow in my crease and really smoked it out on the outer v corner of my eyes. I used the white shade to help smoke it out, and as a brow bone and inner eye corner highlight. Then I just picked a glitter shade and put that all over my lid and the final look was absolutely stunning and very easy to create.

I highly recommend this palette, especially if you don't have anything else like it. I am by no means a glitter expert, but I found this a really easy way to incorporate glitter into everyday makeup without looking too overdone, but it can be also be used in bright, bold looks as well.

Here are some looks I created using the Glitter Bomb Palette:
