REVIEW: Oriflame Beauty Nail Food

Today I'm going to review another nail care product on my blog. And it's Oriflame Beauty Nail Food.
Read on for the complete review and my experience.

PRICE & QUANTITY: Rs. 229/- for 7 ml

AVAILABILITY: Through an Oriflame consultant and online on amazon and ebay.

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION:
Revitalizes and restores weak nails
With nourishing natural berry oils
Non greasy
Quickly absorbed

INGREDIENTS: Not mentioned

HOW TO USE: Apply some product on your nails and gently massage for 30 seconds per nail. It has to be applied as nail polish but I use it as an oil because it doesn't absorb quickly.

MY EXPERIENCE: For me, it just acts like any oil or you can say a cuticle oil. I apply it twice day and works pretty well. I can't say its perfect because it lacks in some departments and doesn't brings a wide smile on your face after using it. Although I love the fragrance a lot.

Texture: Smooth but greasy.

Consistency: Neither very thick nor very thin, just fine.

Packaging: It comes in a regular nail polish bottle which is rectangular in shape. On the front, you can read the details about the product with the company's logo. The body is made of thick glass with a white cap. The brush applicator is fine and covers your nail at one stroke alone. The packaging is travel friendly too.

Staying power: It doesn't absorb quickly. It takes one hour to absorb that too not 100%. That's why I use it as an oil and massage onto my nails.

Price: Bit pricey, it must be between 150-200 INR, not more than that as it does not stand up to what it claims 100%.

I liked this nail food but would not recommend this product! It does makes your nails strong but for some time and then again your nails are back to their original state. Moreover, it claims that it absorbs quickly, no, it takes long hours to absorb and you just can't get along with any other work.

Can you see that little ball inside the bottle (image above)? This ball ensures to keep the oil fresh for longer period of time.

CONS:

Expensive according to what results it has shown
Doesn't absorb quickly
You need to apply this at least 4 times a day to make your nails strong 24X7

NOTD: This is the result one month usage and its just fine, not very good.

RATINGS: 3/5

FINAL VERDICT: If you can sit for long hours, then only I'll suggest you to try out this product, otherwise, don't waste your money and energy. Just ignore this nail care product. There are many options available in the market and shows better results. It doesn't stand up to what it claims. So girls, don't waste anything on this product.
