Review: All Eyes on Me Waterproof Multi-effect Mascara - Essence

Hi guys!

Here I am again with another review to start with the new scheduled reviews every Tuesday!

This time I bring you a review about a product that I recently bought and fell instantly in love with: All eyes on me waterproof mascara by Essence.
Essence site's description of the mascara:

Always reliable: the waterproof version of the all eyes on me mascara is smudge and waterproof. This all-round talent provides volume, length and curve. Since it can also withstand sweat or tears, it’s ideal for sporting activities or movie nights with your best friends. Opthalmologically tested.

Mascara details/initial thoughts:

This is a waterproof mascara meant for volumizing, lengthening and curling lashes (multi-effect)

It is a black mascara and comes in a standard package (I'll put images of the product and swatches at the end of the post) with a regular mascara applicator as you can see in the photo

The price is really cheap (it costs about 2 or 3€)

I actually didn't expect much of this mascara at first, because it was too cheap and comes in this "informal" package but I needed urgently a mascara so I decided to try it out.

Before this, as you may know, I was using ELF's Volumizing Waterproof Mascara  but I didn't really like it, so I needed to try some new stuff.
Pros & Cons:
When I first tried out this mascara I was really surprised on how light it is, it almost seems like you don't have any mascara on, apart from coloring your lashes black, it seems to not be working at all.

It actually doesn't add volume to your lashes at all, and this can be a con for some people, but to me it didn't matter at all because, after the application, I could clearly see how my lashes were "naturally" curled without looking overly made up.

Another pro of this product is that, when I used the ELF one, it really stayed, to the point that when I tried to take it off (or even when wetting it) it crackled and flaked all over my face. This one doesn't, it stays all day long without flaking and when you take it out, it just comes so easily that you will believe you forgot to put your mascara on.

It may not be the best mascara for a "professional" look, but it does work pretty well for its price and it does a great job on natural everyday looks.

So, obviously, after saying this, I have to tag it as a HIT!
