Here is an easy way to achieve a multi dimensional interesting nail art look.
Just stamp something under the design you want to shine and it adds a special twist if the layers of the stamps somehow match.

I wanted my big safety pin stamp to shine. So for the base, I created a grid of smaller safety pins patterns. I just layered silver ones over gray ones and vice versa. They look like tough girl flowers and since I used polishes with 2 different finishes (creme and metallic) they get even more dimension.

Over that fabulous multi-dimensional base, I added the big safety pins and I think this is a great way to finish the look. As you can see there is no need to bother with difficult messy techniques just layer stamps since you will deal with clean up anyways when the time comes to add the design you want to stand out :)

For this mani I used Essence Love Is In The Air as base. The small pins are made with Star Gazer no. 232 and Catrice L'Ombre a Saussouci, the plate is MoYou London Punk 2. The big pins are made with Essence Stamp Me! Black and MoYou London Biker 2.
