Hello lovelies!

Today I'm sharing with you a little beauty haul that I did at a local drugstore and also there are a few bits from french pharmacy and feelunique, where I like to shop for brands that are a bit more on the higher end scale!

I needed some very basic essentials such as a toothbrush, shower gel, shampoo and conditioner -  so I turned to my local drugstore and found some great and affordable products!

I ran out of my Bioderma Micellar Water, so this time I decided to try out something more affordable price wise: Garnier micellar water was on promotion for under €2, it was impossible to pass!

I have to say that I'm impressed: It's very effective at removing makeup, even waterproof makeup and it's very gentle at the same time. It works great on sensitive and dry skin.

Nivea deodorant in Fresh Flower is delicately scented and aluminum free. I have to say though, I have to re-apply it throughout the day, especially in summer time! I'm still looking for that perfect deodorant that gives you 24HR protection, yet is skin friendly (aluminum free!).

Yves Rocher hand cream is my must! It's such a good product, very affordable and it really takes care for your hands, keeping them moisturised.

I'm running low on my shampoo and conditioner, so this time I decided to try out the L'Oreal coconut range. They have a fab scent (I love coconut scent). I still need to test them out before I give my review but I did have a coconut mask from the same range and I was super pleased!

As far as the good hair styling oil is concerned, and if you want to stick to drugstore brands, Schwarzkopf Gliss is actually awesome little gem! I repurchased it because I liked it so much: It leaves your hair silky and soft without weighing it down or making it greasy/ oily. It's also great for detangling and keeping away the friziness!

Lately, after showering, I've been using natural almond oil instead of a moisturiser. I really love the "I Provenzali", Italian brand, for natural oils. I use this brand for skincare, haircare and bodycare. This oil is 100% natural and I used it even when I was pregnant (it kept the stretchmarks away!)

As a shower gel, this time I was in the mood for lavender scent, as I usually take shower in the evening before going to bed. Lavender is supposed to have relaxing properties and ease you into falling asleep. I love the "Le Petit Marsellais" lavender and honey scent! They cost around 1€ and have all sorts of fab scents to choose from.

At the end of my list, I have a toothbrush and intimate wash gel, nothing too exciting, so I picked the products I know work well: Listerine toothbrush and Neutro Med for intimate wash, as it's very delicate and I've been using this brand for years now.

Now, onto the two most exciting things in this beauty New In post.

From French Pharmacy, I picked up Caudalie ultra nourishing moisturizer for very dry skin. This is the product I've been using for a couple of years now and I keep repurchasing it, as it works wonders on my dry skin. It's great as a night time moisturizer but even as a makeup base. My skin just loves it!

Also, Bare Minerals Complexion Rescue tinted moisturizing gel cream! This is my holy grail, I've been using it for a while and I always find myself repurchasing it. I use it in a shade 02 Vanilla and it suits my fair skin perfectly. It makes it more radiant and fresh looking. It gives a very natural finish but you can build it up or use a concealer for those problem areas where you need more coverage.

Anyways, I'm very happy with all these products!

Let me know have you ever had a chance to try any of these and if so which ones did you like/ didn't like?

xo from Italy,

Sonia Verardo
