Here is another post where I'm going to talk about motherhood and beauty items!
Here', I'll recommend some of the beauty products that have really been super useful and easy to use, especially in those first few weeks after birth, when you don't really have time for anything else but your baby!
I find that all these products are very simple, quick and easy to use, they won't take much time out of your day (and time for yourself is something you really don't have, when talking about those first few weeks with your newborn baby!). All the attention and all the energy is on him and it's the way it's supposed to be and it feels amazing.
But why giving up those little beauty rituals that makes us feel and look better, if they're so easy to use?
Must-have body care & face care products!
These two products are my "go- to" products for keeping my body moisturised! Nivea In Shower Body Lotion is a great little invention and this is already my second one! This one is great for normal to dry skin and it's basically a body lotion that you apply whilst you're still under the shower and then just quickly rinse off.
Afterwards, you don't really need to apply any other body lotion, but I like to apply Garnier Dry Body Oil as you only need to spray it all over and it absorbs super quickly without leaving any residue. The scent is just amazing!
As I'm breastfeeding, I needed a good balm for my nipples that would soothe and protect my skin, but that's also safe to use and meant for breastfeeding. I found this one by Babylove range at Drogerie Markt drugstores in Croatia.
It's very affordable but it works great and I really think I can thank this product, it has made breastfeeding a happier experience for me!
This is probably my number one Mum's essential!
Then, for face care, it's good to have some sort of natural oil, especially if your skin needs that extra care!
I used up my argan oil and now I'm using this mix of olive and other bio oils. It works better than any high end, expensive serum and it's also great to use on its own, if you don't have the time for a complete daytime/night time routine, that includes moisturizers etc.
Here are some of my beauty essentials when it comes to face care!
Caudalie products to keep my skin always hydrated and Lierac eye creams.
These are nowadays always in my beauty bag, especially the hydrating masks that you can actually leave overnight!
I'll be doing a separate more in depth reviews of these products soon.
Obviously, these products aren't exclusively meant for Mums, but they're great for anyone who leads a busy life and struggles to find time between work/ school obligations (except for the nipple balm, lol!)
Let me know, which ones are your beauty essentials?
