Here's a fun lip art look for Valentine's Day!

I did two different versions: pinky coral with a semi matte finish and a bright red with a glossy finish!

STEP BY STEP TUTORIAL:

Step 1: Begin with a white or light colored pencil. Sketch the heart shaped design of your choice. I began at the cupid’s bow and rounded out the center to create a more fuller heart shaped pout.

Step 2: Then, drag and connect the design onto the bottom lip to create a heart.

Step 3: Outline the rest of the lips with a black pencil or whichever color you choose your base color to be.

Step 4: Fill in the rest of the design. So the heart will be white and the rest of the lips, black.

Step 5: Set the black with black eyeshadow.

Step 6: Now it’s time to add color! For the top lip, fill in the heart with a red shade.

Step 7: On the bottom lip, I only filled in the heart in the center to create a soft gradient effect. Blend! Set with a red eyeshadow.

Step 8: For the bottom part of the heart, I filled in with a light pink to finish the gradient look.

Step 9: Now’s the time to clean up the edges, making sure everything is blended. You may have to re-touch the edges to make sure the heart shape is precise.

Step 10: Optional: For a more animated and glossy version, just add a glossy red color over the red! Done!
