Hello Lovelies!

     Welcome to my first blog post on Glam Express!  What better way to kick off a blog than with a makeup tutorial? Since summer is upon us I wanted to do a fun and bold summery look incorporating two of my favorite colors : purple and green. Thanks to my makeup partner in crime, Face By Emily for suggesting the name for this lovely look. 

STEP BY STEP TUTORIAL:

Step 1: First off, start with a clean and moisturized lid and apply Too Faced Shadow insurance all over your lid and under your lower lashline. Then dab NYX Jumbo Pencil in Milk all over where you placed your Shadow Insurance and blend out. 

You can see where the NYX is blended out thoroughly over my lid in order to prevent creasing and to give your shadows a great base and to make the colors pop.

Step 2: Apply BeautyBarBaby's Ethereal Dream to the highlight portion of your eye (right below your brow). 

You can see I placed it in the highlight portion of my eye where my brow would be.

Step 3:  Apply BeautyBarBaby's R U Froggin Crazy to the middle of your lid.

Place in the center of your lid and don't worry about the fall out. We will clean that up later.

 Step 4: Apply BeautyBarBaby's Grape Ape on either side of R U Froggin Crazy

Step 5: Apply BeautyBarBaby's Purplicious on either side of Grape Ape and along the front portion of the lower lashline.

Step 6: Apply BeautyBarBaby's Eggplant on the outer most corner of your lid, in the crease and on the outer most portion of the lower lashline.

 Step 7: Now apply a small amount Purplicious right above Eggplant in the crease and blend!

You can reapply some of the shadows if they aren't as bright to your liking after blending.

Now it is time for clean up so take a clean makeup wipe and clean up any fall out you may have from blending.

Step 8: Next apply a white liner to your waterline I am using BeautyBarBaby's white gel liner.

Step 9: Apply R U Froggin Crazy over the white liner with an angled brush

 Step 10: Next, line your eye with a black liner, I am using BeautyBarBaby's Black Gel Liner and apply some mascara.

 Technically you can stop here and fill in your brows and be done with the look but I wanted something with more dramatic (of course) so these last steps are completely optional.

Since I wanted something bolder, I got out my Wolfe Essential Palette.

 Step 11: (Optional) I added light green and white dots to the outer corner of my eye.

Step 12: Finally I added lashed and drew/filled in my brow to complete the look
