Hello dolls,
Today's makeup tutorial is a two part series. My last series were a set of glam couture looks.
Although these looks are very glamorous as well, they're also a lot more wearable.
This week I will be going over the dramatic cut crease eye makeup.
Stay tuned for the other half of this look next week, which will be a classic matte smokey eye!

STEP BY STEP TUTORIAL:
FACE:
- Begin by highlighting and contouring face. Then blend it all together using a foundation that matches your skin color.
- I used my Ofra Cosmetics Rainbow Wheel as a blusher for my cheeks and for a powder blusher I used the elf studio duo.
- For a powder highlight, I used Mary Lou Manizer. Check out my previous post for in-depth tutorial on highlighting and contouring.
EYES:
- Begin with a black gel eyeliner. I used MAC’s fludiline. Line the upper lashline and create a winged effect. Drag the outer part of the wing into the outer ½ of the crease to create a cut crease.
- Using a deep purple eyeshadow, cut the crease and soften the liner.
- Apply a soft pinkish brown shadow above the crease to the brow bone and blend outwards and upwards to soften the cut crease. Then apply a highlight beneath the brows. I applied White Orange Pearl Pigment by Makeup Atelier for a prominent highlight.
- Apply a shimmery champagne color all over the lids.
- Apply gel liner to the lower lashline and create a small wing parallel to the upper wing.
- Create a double wing from the upper lashline extending from the outer part of the crease.
- Add a bright fuchsia colored shadow on the lower lashline. Also apply to the inner ½ of the crease blending upwards into the brow bone.
- Apply a yellow gold highlight to the inner corners.
- Apply neon orange to the outer part of the lower wing.
- Finish with false lashes and mascara.
