As you know, I'm not a huge fan of lip glosses.

Today I am going to review a lip product which is both a lipstick and a lip gloss.

I got my hands on a pretty shade, which is from the brand Bonjour Paris. I will be talking about their 18H Long Lasting Lip Color 2 in 1 in the shade 15.

Product Description: Feels like a soft silk rested on your lips is this product from Bonjour Paris. Additionally, it gives you a lip gloss on the side to add some shine. No matter what you like, it gives you both; a perfect matte lipstick and a gloss.

How To Use: With the help of the applicator, first line your lips then fill them in. If you like, then add gloss from the other side of the product.

My Experience: Bonjour Paris Long lasting Lip Color 2 in 1 comes in a plastic container. It has the product on both the sides, as called 2 in 1 in the product naming. On one side, you will find the gorgeous lipcolor. Mine is in the shade Orchid. On the other, you will find a clear lip gloss, which helps in adding drama to your lips. The long cylindrical packaging is travel friendly. The product is budget friendly too. You get such an amazing deal for this 2 in 1 product! The glossy side is a little messy at times. When I use the gloss and try to put the applicator wand back in the tube, it flushes out of the container and I have to do all the cleaning.

The other side is color coded so it is easy to grab your favorite shade. The product is highly pigmented and soft as feather on the lips. The gloss does add some heaviness onto the lips but it is still manageable. I really do not like my hair sticking to the gloss again and again so I prefer to only wear the matte side of the product. It stays for long, I must say. If you do apply the gloss, then you would need touch-ups throughout the day but if you are matte girl, then you do not have to worry at all. You can eat and drink as much as you want with that matte lip color on. The shade (after it dries on the lips) doesn’t transfer. I have tried, you can too. But yes, I would recommend you to line and fill your lips first with a lip liner first.

The shade is really pretty as you can see in the images below. It has the undertones of many shades like purple, burgundy and a hint of mauve too. The brush applicator is also of fine quality that it touches your lips very gently. I have not used an applicator like this before, like seriously. But, the product doesn’t keep your lips hydrated so make sure you apply 2-4 layers of lip balm beneath. I have experienced some amazing things about this product and that is why my review went really long, isn’t it? This baby is definitely worth investing in.
