Hey dolls, I hope everything is well with you. I wanted to share some back to school makeup ideas/looks!
For today's post, I want to share one special step I took further to enhance my makeup education. Last December, I finally started the makeup courses I wanted. I opted for one of the important schools in my country and the teacher, Nick had his training done at the Channel Centre in the US and he was also the official makeup artist for Maybelline, for an entire 8 years! He is mega cool and I love every course we have every week.
So far, we had 3 courses and I will show you below the themes and my looks. The makeup courses will come to an end in March and I will receive an international diploma as a makeup artist! I still have a long way but I'm very excited.
For the first day, Nick made us take a makeup test just to get to know each other better and see how everyone works firsthand.
Here are my results:
The second theme was contouring, so we went over the dos and don't of contouring as well as tips, tricks and stuff like that.
This time, I was very surprised to find my model was only 14 years old, so I didn't go with a heavy/full face contour. I kept the contour light and nice.
CLOSED/OPEN BANANA // CUT CREASE:
The third theme one was closed/open banana or cut-crease. Nick told us that the best way to create this kind of look is to work with a detailed brush and not with the fluffy ones.
So, these are my models and looks I've created thus far. I'm very excited about all the courses so far and I can't wait for the next ones! I love learning and trying out new things. The makeup industry is a field where we are constantly learning and every day we have to better our skill level.
Comment below: What do you think of my new adventure? Did you like the makeup looks?
