I've created a very simple eye makeup look for Valentine's Day. I've used one eyeshadow palette and only three shades!

This is perfect for a last minute or quick eye makeup look yet still festive for the occasion. The hearts add a nice flirty and animated flair.

STEP BY STEP TUTORIAL:

1. Apply NYX eyeshadow base over entire eyelids.
2. Then apply a pink eyeshadow to the crease. I’m using BH Cosmetic’s 120 Eyeshadow Palette.
3. Apply a red eyeshadow to the entire eyelid. Make sure you pat this color on for maximum color intensity. Blend into the pink for a nice gradient effect.
4. Apply a black eyeliner to the waterline.
5. Using that same red eyeshadow, apply it to the lower lashline.
6. Now apply a satiny white eyeshadow the brow bone and inner corner for a shimmery highlight.
7. Apply black gel liner to the upper lashline.
8. Now it’s time to get creative! Pull out your doodling skills and add hearts along the outer edge of the eye, following the liner from the upper lashline. I created three small hearts and added small dots around it for a more animated look. The easiest way to create these are with a felt tip eyeliner pen.
9. Add false eyelashes and mascara and the look is complete!
10. Optional: Embellish the hearts with glitter, rhinestones or color! Have fun.
