If you love Adele as much as I do, you're probably digging her new music video and the makeup she's sporting in it.

In this article, I'll recreate her look and teach you how to do so also!

In her new music video, "Hello," Adele is in her classic cat eye and very minimal yet flattering makeup.

Her eyes are sporting a heavy, beautiful contour with thick black liner. Her lips are a nude shade and her contour is on point!

You Will Need:

  • Urban Decay Naked Smoky Palette ( about $54.00)
  • Kat Von D Liquid Liner in Trooper Black ( about $19.00)
  • Too Faced Cocoa Contour Palette ( about $40.00)
  • Nars Lipstick in "Cruising" nude pink ( about $27.00)
  • Diorshow Mascara in Black ( about $27.50 )

Step by Step Tutorial:

  1. After applying your favorite primer and foundation, contour your face with a professional grade contour palette such as the Too Faced Cocoa Contour Palette. This palette is so smooth and it smells like chocolate! It's one of my all time faves, check out my review here. Contour the hollows of your cheeks with a bronze shade in the palette. Also contour the crease of your eyes with this bronze also. Add a pop of light by applying a light tone to the middle of your eyelids and on your upper cheekbones.
  2. Apply smokey taupe, or matte light brown to the crease of the upper eyes. I used "Password" from the Urban Decay Naked Smoky Palette. Blend outwards and really define your crease of your eyes, but try not to do so in an overly dramatic way. You want this look to remain soft. Also sweep this shade on the bottom of the waterline. Buff and blend.
  3. Apply a deeper brown shade to the outer corners of the crease. I used "Whiskey" from the Urban Decay Naked Smoky Palette. Use this shade subtly, and sparingly. Blend well into your "Password" light brown shade.
  4. Apply a soft white shade with no shimmer to the middle of the upper eyelid and blend well. I used "Thirteen" from the Urban Decay Naked Smoky Palette. You want this shade to work as an accent to your eyelid, and it will really give your look that soft, yet alluring contoured eye that Adele has. Sweep all over the eyelid, blending into the crease but not overpowering the brown shades you used there.
  5. Use a dramatic black liner and apply a sweeping cat eye on the top eyelid. I used Kat Von D Liquid Liner in Trooper Black, I love it's precision tipped brush. You can also apply a little of this to the bottom waterline of the eyes, in the outer corner and smudge lightly.
  6. Apply a natural coat of mascara to your upper and lower lashes. Diorshow Mascara in Black is natural yet gives a stunning effect to the lashes. Apply an extra coat to the top lashes after your first coat.
  7. Apply a natural, yet nude pinky/taupe lipstick with no shimmer to the lips. I tried Nars Lipstick in "Cruising" nude pink and thought it was pretty close to Adele's.

You're done!
