Theatrical

Theatrical includes looks inspired by but not limited to the following:

• Actors, stage, theater, movies, films
• Looks are exaggerated, excessively dramatic with a more realistic approach
• Editorial is also included in the Theatrical Category. Editorial would include looks inspired by something you might see in a fashion magazine or on the runway.

Cosplay

This is the most common category for Halloween dress-up. Cosplay or role play includes costumes, accessories & wigs to resemble fictional characters.

SUBMISSION PERIOD

Glam Express must receive all entries during the Submission Period {September 1, 2018 through November 5, 2018 by 11:59 PM PST.} for a participant to be eligible to win. Participants are limited to one (1) entry per category during the Submission Period. By entering the Contest, you agree to be bound by these Official Rules. By entering the Contest, entrants agree to release and hold Glam Express harmless, from any and all claims, injuries, damages, expenses or losses to person or property and/or liabilities of any nature.

Winner Selection

Judges will select one (1) winner from each category based on the following criteria:

JUDGING CRITERIA:

• First Impression
• Creativity
• Effort
• No Blurry Photo Entries
• No Photoshop
• Originality
• Technique

• Winners will be posted on our facebook page and on the website under the winners section on November 12, 2018.

  Winners will be notified by e-mail immediately ( make sure your email address is current and up to date here ) following the end of the judging period. If a selected finalist cannot be contacted, does not respond in a timely fashion as determined by Glam Express or is ineligible, the prize may be forfeited and an alternate winner selected from remaining valid, eligible entries timely submitted. The prize packages will be mailed as soon as the Winner's mailing address is verified.

Eligibility

The Glam Express 2018 Halloween Contest is open worldwide to those who are 13 years or older. If under 18, you must have parent's or guardian's permission to enter. Void where prohibited.

CONDITIONS

Glam Express reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to terminate, suspend, or otherwise cancel the Contest at any time for any reason. If a Winner is disqualified or his or her prize is forfeited, Glam Express shall have the right, but not the obligation, to select an alternate Winner.

HOW TO ENTER

Submit your photo entries using our online photo widget. If you're on a mobile and are having trouble navigating this page, try using the 'desktop version' of the website on your mobile or go directly to this link: http://www.glam-express.com/photo/photo/new. You may also simply go to the photo gallery page and click the +Add button. Follow the directions to upload a photo. The individual photo should be large and clear. No photo collages accepted.

Make sure to include the title as 'Glam Express 2018 Halloween Contest Entry.'

For the description, type the category you are participating in: Special FX, Theatrical or Cosplay. Also list the title of your work and/or a brief description of what your halloween makeup/costume is.

Finally, in the tags field, make sure to add "halloween2018" in order for us to list you as an eligible entry.

NUMBER OF ENTRIES ALLOWED

Only one (1) entry per person per category is permitted. Each entrant is limited to a total of three (3) different entries, one (1) per category.

Entrants submitting multiple entries per categories or violating any of the Official Rules may be disqualified.
