Glam Express is a place for me to share all things beauty! Makeup has always been an essential part of my life. Do I feel I need it to mask my imperfections and flaws? Absolutely not! Instead, I look at it, as a way of flaunting and highlighting my best features!

For me, makeup is an art. Like art, makeup is subjective. Makeup has allowed me to embrace my raw emotions and translate them into art. The best part, you get a fresh, clean canvas the next day. EXPRESS your inner-self, add a little glitter and make it GLAM.

I do not consider myself a professional makeup artist as I have no formal training. I enjoy teaching and am very passionate at helping others feel beautiful. I have earned my Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and understand that society plays an immense role at shaping who we are.

Unfortunately, sometimes we are conditioned to feel that we need to be 100% perfect. Nobody is perfect. The fact that media is feeding us this unhealthy portrayal of what a real woman is; is disturbing on so many levels.

I would like to be that reminder that it is okay to be a little imperfect. It's all about loving yourself which starts at the inner-core. Makeup is a small component of my life. It does not define who I am.
