Well I really don't understand what exactly exfoliating is. I searched it on Google but can't understand it completely. Can someone tell me more about it? Is it good for acne-prone skin? Please do reply.
Exfoliating is a way to clean the dry patches or dead skin from your face also good for blackheads. But you don't want to do it too often, I do it once or twice a week.
If you do make sure you use a very gentle exfoliation. And only about once a week or every week and half. Exfoliating too much and with harsh ingredients can cause more breakouts!!! So yes, but be very gentle with your skin. You only have one....
yes a gentle exfoliation is ok 2 to 3 times a week..you don't want anything too harsh or it will just cause more damage and spread bacteria..I recommend Michael Todd Organics Charcoal exfoliator. They have a complete Acne "kit" that works wonders and is gentle on the skin. I too suffer from horrible acne and this is the only thing that has truly worked for me:) hope it helps!
Yes, but it is best to use products with a ph of 5.5. I am exfoliating my skin 2 times a week and after I am applying benzoyl peroxide on my acne. It keeps it under control. I have moderate acne, but if you have a severe form, it's better to see a dermatologist.
