try BH cosmetics or coastal scents--even elf brushes are good and cheaper,

Real Techniques brushes from Ulta are amazing for the price.  You can get a set of 4 brushes for around $18 and sometimes they will be buy one get one for 50% off.  I am a MAC makeup artist and have a ton of MAC brushes which are awesome but costly and Real Techniques brushes are just as good if not better!

I  recommend Eco Tools, E.L.F. studio brushes, Essence of Beauty brushes (CVS) and Shany cosmetic brushes.
