Q: What does makeup/beauty/fashion mean to you?

A: For me, makeup, beauty and fashion are creative ways to externally express ourselves. It also helps to distinguish ourselves from others and find ourselves as individual human beings.

Apart from that, I just really enjoy playing around with different looks and styles.

I think the world would appear less colorful and bright without makeup, beauty and fashion. Also, makeup is not just another beauty product for me. I feel like there are countless opportunities to create art. I personally like to express art with the use of makeup. In my eyes, a canvas doesn't have to be out of paper and I just like to use my face as a canvas (to create art.) Also, makeup is not just another beauty product for me. Q: When did you start getting into makeup/beauty/fashion?

A: I remember that I started wearing makeup on a daily basis when I was only nine years young. I just always liked playing with it. I got into beauty related videos on youtube when I was 12 and enjoying spending time on it until now.

Q: What’s your first ever beauty product?

A: I don't quite remember but I think it was an Essence eyeshadow.

Q: What’s your favorite makeup brand and why?

A: "THE brand" doesn't really exist for me. At least not yet. I'm still in the process of trying out and finding brands that I like and feel like there is so much more to come. But at the moment I'm a sucker for KIKO makeup because I can get it in the place I live, it is affordable and the quality is awesome! But if I didn't live in Germany where we don't have Sephora and only have a super small range of good cosmetic companies compared to the U.S., I would probably be a sucker for Urban Decay. So far I love every single product I got from them!

Q: Name the one makeup product you cannot live without and why?

A: The NYX HD Finishing Powder is a must have for me because one needs to set their foundation, especially the under eye area to achieve a long lasting good-looking result. I fell in love with this particular product because it consists of 100% pure silica minerals that set the makeup beautifully, make your skin feel super soft and don't cake your face up at the same time.

Q: What’s your best makeup tip?

A:Blend, blend, blend! To me blending is the key! It is essential for a good looking makeup application. But of course the color intensity fades as you blend the colors so also make sure to reapply the product.

Q:What’s the one thing your viewers don’t know about you?

A:I kind of wish I was born in the '60s haha. I just love the music, the fashion and whole lifestyle that was represented. Everything from that time period appears so much cooler to me compared to now and I feel fascinated by all the rebellious minds there had been back then.

Q:Do you have any special/hidden talents?

A:I really like to sing and also play the guitar for about 5 years.

Q:Why/When did you start posting videos/blog?

A:I think I uploaded my first video on youtube in 2010. I entered a youtube contest with it. I just were so excited when I heard about those kind of contest where you can submit makeup looks under a certain theme and even be able to win something. I immediately had to try it myself and fastly discovered my love for making videos.

Q:Who’s your biggest makeup inspiration and why?

A:Hard to say because many YouTuber's inspired me throughout my way but I can definitely say that "anaarthur81" had a big influence on me because she always came up with the craziest and most brilliant makeup looks that really impressed me so much. Also "iwanted2c1video", and "goldiestarling" had been a big inspiration and they are still today.
