For today's post I'm going to share with you my 5 fashion essentials!

Since I became a Mum, these are my "Go To" items and now I'm going to explain just why each of these items are so important!

I tried to simplify my list and I managed to narrow it down to 5 items that I find really useful and most importantly, practical.

But, let's not forget that I love fashion and even when I don't have much time to dedicate to myself, I like to look like I did put in some effort in my appearance.

I think it's all about finding those right pieces to incorporate into your daily styling, that will make a difference.

1. Backpack

Backpacks are so handy and luckily, really on trend at the moment! They're perfect when you need to have your hands free, when you're out & about with your baby.

I have more than one in my collection and I can say that they're sooo practical! You can also put inside some of your baby's essentials (such as diapers, some extra clothes etc.)

2. Sunglasses

A busy Mum can really never have enough pairs of sunglasses! 

They're perfect for covering up the signs of those sleepless nights and also, great excuse not to wear makeup (sometimes, it's really hard to find the time to put on a full face of makeup  and by wearing sunglasses, you can skip the eyeshadow/ mascara part, which is something that will definitely save up some time!)

3. Espadrilles or sneakers

I never was very keen on wearing high heels (except for the special occasions), but now I can even more often be found in comfy footwear.

My priority is comfort but I also like my footwear to be cute, so I often go for embellished espadrilles or interesting print sneakers.

The right footwear can put together an outfit even when you're wearing the most plain pieces of clothing!

For those long walks pushing a stroller, espadrilles or sneakers are the right choice!

4. Shirts / Blouses

Anything with buttons and "easy boob" access.

As I'm still breastfeeding, I have to put in consideration my choice of tops, as I can't be wearing anything too complicated and unpractical for breastfeeding.

Luckily, you don't necessarily need to buy new things specific for breastfeeding, as button down shirts are one of the ideal options.

I really love my denim shirts (they are a classic and go well with everything) and some cute and ruffly shirts that are a bit more dressy and certainly on trend!

5. Watch

To tell time of course! It's important to know how much time has passed since your baby's last feed!

Also, a watch is such a great fashion accessory and the right one can really make your look a bit more interesting.

I'm personally a big lover of wooden watches and recently I ordered this pretty model by Konifer , it's eco friendly and also very unique.
