Skin care, What works for Me? First a little about myself and you will see why soon enough. I am 27 years old. I mostly work part time but currently pulling full time hours. I am married and have two kids. I have normal to combination skin and some oily spots as well. 

Now that I have given you a little information on me here is why. Skin changes for most especially when you age. My skin is maturing everyday so I need to take good care of it so that I can age gracefully. From the beginning of 2016 to the middle of 2016 I notice a drastic difference in my skin. My face wasn't as firm or youthful looking as it was before. I have more visible pores and fine lines were starting to appear around my eyes and my smile lines. I also notice a little bit of discoloration and I actually started getting blemishes which I never had trouble with when I was younger. I am 27 years old, still considered young in age, but even at this age, I am noticing the first signs of aging, although subtle.

I first started to work on the breakouts and blemishes. I started washing my face every morning and every night before bed. I used different face washes til finally I found what worked best for me. The face washes that I really like and still use are from GARNIER. I started off with GARNIER SKINACTIVE Clean+ Invigorating Daily Scrub for Normal Skin. I loved this one and was using this for nights before going to bed. I noticed a difference right away. My face cleared up although I did still have the occasional break outs. I did repurchase this time and time again as needed. Which I normally purchase at Target or Ulta Beauty. Currently, I use two different face washes but both are from GARNIER. For morning. I use GARNIER SKINACTIVE Clearly Brighter Argan Nut Gentle Exfoliating Cleanser Daily Exfoliating Cleanser. This Wakes me up in the morning and helps exfoliate my skin to have a more even skin tone. I noticed the difference as well. The one I currently use at night is GARNIER SKINACTIVE Clean+ Blackhead Eliminating Scrub for Oily Skin. I love this face wash it is amazing! With both of these, I feel my skin clean, light, and smooth. 

Washing your face is good to cleanse the skin and remove all the dirt and grime that gets into your skin throughout the day, But it won't work alone. Washing your face removes the natural oils that moisturizes your skin. You have to moisturize your skin for healthy looking skin. Now for those of you in your early 20's any moisturizer is good as long as its compatible with your skin type. For those of you closer to my age or older you need a moisturizer with skin treatment. The Drugstore has a variety of choices now and has more affordable options.  At this age, you want something that has anti-aging or something that says that it helps restore firmness to the skin. You may also want to see if it fights discoloration like dark spots or red marks as well as fine lines. These type of moisturizers, although pricier, will help your skin feel and look more youthful and will also help you age gracefully.
