Today I am sharing a fruit manicure tutorial. Watermelon is my most favorite fruit for the summer so, I thought of creating it on my nails.
Have a look...
THINGS YOU WILL NEED:
Here is a step by step tutorial to achieve this look...
1) Start by applying a white creme polish on your nails as a base (I used Sally Hansen White On).
2) Create small triangles with dark pink polish using the detailing brush ( I used Essie Watermelon for this). Try to make two to three per nail (depending on the size of your nails). Don't fill the nail too much. Keep the lower edge of triangles curved.
On the ring finger nail, apply the dark pink polish and leave the edge of the nail white only.
3) Draw thick curves below the triangles with green nail polish (I used Sally Hansen Going green for this).
On the ring finger nail, fill the edge with the same green shade; leave a thin stripe between them. (Don't worry if the white stripe does not come out clean, you can make a clean stripe after the green shade dries completely, using the detailing brush).
4) Using the tip of the detailing brush dot the seeds on the slices. I have used Maybelline Color Show Blackout for this.
Seal off the manicure using a top coat. I have used Oriflame Top coat.
You have your Watermelon nails ready. Have fun this summer!
Thanks for stopping by. Stay beautiful...
