Hi beauties!

Today's tutorial is color smoke nails or paint splatter nails to get that watercolor effect.

PRODUCT LIST:

Nail conditioner / base (for me, a must have before painting), top coat and nail polishes colors. Also two brushes for decorating: one flat brush and one with thin bristles.  I added olive oil to nourish the skin around the nails after the manicure is set.
A cotton swab is also useful, a small container to pour the paint into (can be aluminum foil), a brush to clean any excess polish around nails and nail polish remover.
In addition, I've used yellow watercolor paints.

STEP BY STEP TUTORIAL:

1. First, start by applying a nail conditioner and then two thin layers of primer. In my case, it is a white polish from Rimmel.

2. Before applying any color polish, apply Seche Vite top coat which also accelerates drying time. By applying this underneath the color polish, it will keep the base color nice and neat and will not get ruined with the next steps.

3. Then, pour a little bit of colored paint on the brush and thin out by dipping the brush in water (thickness is not important) then paint irregular lines.
4. Before the lines dry, take a second brush (flat) and immerse it in nail polish remover. Place the brush on the edges of the earlier painted lines on the nails. Just flatten these painted lines with the brush to blur the contours. You have now created the "smoke" effect.
The previously applied top coat will allow us to not smear the white paint underneath.

5. The lines will be blurred. They do not have to be perfect, because that is not what this look is about. Their size, width, and orientation - it depends on your imagination.

6. Add other colors. I've used 3 nail polishes: pink, coral and turquoise. Of course before applying successive layers of color that earlier moment, let dry out, to create a nice gradient.

7. Optionally, you can add several splashes of watercolor paints. But it works better on matte polishes, although I have managed to create something with yellow paint.
8. Finally, apply a top coat on finished nails.
9. Clean the skin around the nails. Then apply a skin moisturizer such as olive oil, skin cream, etc.

FINISHED LOOK:

Simple, right? A simple method for an efficient manicure.
