I'm back with another lip art tutorial! This one has some spring vibe feel to it and I love the color palette for the season.
I've created two versions, one suitable for everyday and another "artsy" look which is perfect for Instagram.
Enjoy the step by step, tutorial, below!
Sephora Collection Cream Lip Stain Liquid Lipstick #10
NYX Soft Matte Lip - Monte Carlo
NYX Duo Chromatic Lip Gloss - Fairplay
H&M Global Fusion Shimmer Gloss - Mardi Gras
3CE Concept Eyes Lip Pigments
H&M Creamy Lip Melt Global Fusion Lip - Purple Patch
STEP BY STEP TUTORIAL:
Step 1: Begin with a soft coral hue all over lips. I used Sephora Collection Cream Lip Stain Liquid Lipstick in #10.
Step 2: Then, I used NYX Soft Matte Lip in the shade Monte Carlo, to contour and define the edges. Gently pat with your fingers to blend for an ombre lip.
Step 3: For some prismatic shine, I applied NYX Duo Chromatic Lip Gloss in Fairplay, focusing the majority of the product on the center part of lips.
Step 4: I layered H&M Global Fusion Shimmer Gloss in Mardi Gras on top for more dimension.
Step 5: You can stop here for a wearable look but I took it one step further for the love of art! Take some creamy lip paints in white, purple and bright orange and swirl and mix the shades around until you get the look you desire. The key is to apply a little at a time in small strokes and layering really adds that “artsy” feel to it. I used 3CE Concept Eyes Lip Pigments and H&M Creamy Lip Melt Global Fusion Lip in Purple Patch here.
