I'm back with new pictures from my last photo shoot!

The theme was expressing emotions, particularly, sadness. The model did an amazing job at reflecting different range of emotions.

Taking a look at the photos, they can be interpreted in many ways including, sadness, defeat, loss, or failure which is the wonderful thing about photography.

For this photo shoot, all the photos are black and white, which also enhances the depth of the emotions. Black and white photography allows the viewer to focus on the subject rather than any distraction that might be in the background. 

For the makeup, I opted for a dramatic black smokey eye, keeping everything else neutral. For the final photos, we added a wet makeup look where the shadow was dragged on the model's face, reflecting running mascara or smudged shadow, as if the model was crying.
