Hi Girls!!!

Are you active on Glam Express? Many of you may know that if you are on Glam-Express often, you get rewarded with points and you may get spotlighted! Well, as Glam-Express is a great place to showcase your work but you also get to interact with others that share the same passion as yourself. I had the pleasure of being the Spotlight Member for the month of May and I was gifted NYX Cosmetics Sex Bomb-Femme Fatale Palette, so I am here doing a quick review of this product.

This palette is very small and sleek in size and is packaged in a hard plastic case, so it is very suitable for travel or to just throw in your purse for touch ups throughout the day or night!! The top has a see through cover so you can see the colors inside, so it's great for storage as well!

Inside you will find the highlights of this palette, also known as the goods! This palette is equipped with 3 matte shades, 2 shimmery shades and 1 sheer shade. It also comes with a disposable double ended sponge applicator.

The first eye shadow that you will see is this matte brick red shade! This works perfect as a lid color on a night on the town!!

The second eye shadow you will see is a shimmery charcoal grey.

Third, you will see this very sheer, shimmery rose gold eye shadow. I found this color perfect for an inner eye highlight to add a glitter effect. This was one of my least favorite in the palette, I had to use lots of product for this color to show through vibrantly.

The next eye shadow is this matte light beige shade. This is a perfect brow bone highlight. This color appeared to be slightly chalky so when applying this shadow I recommend using a good primer and patting the color on before blending.

Next, you will find this matte taupe color, this shade works great in the crease as a transition color.

 Now for my favorite, is a matte black with hints of red sparkle throughout. This color appears to have the most color pay off in this palette. 

Overview:

Overall, this is a perfect palette for on the go, the size is perfect for traveling and storing in your purse. The color pay off and texture of the shadows are great in some shadows more than others but they all apply great and have a pretty good color pay off. I recommend using a good sticky base with all the shades to help the vibrancy and help the shadows to last longer throughout the day!

What I enjoyed most about this palette is its versatility, you are able to create day and night looks and it is equipped with a brow bone highlight, so everything you need is in one place. Just add a liner and mascara and your eyes are set whether you're in for a long day at work or you're looking to have a busy night on the town!!
