Soft nude lips aren't just perfect for neutral everyday makeup, they can beautifully balance a dramatic smokey eye look and even enlarge a tiny and thin lip shape. As an owner of small lips, I love using nude lipsticks to 'fake' a bigger lip shape. When you are using nude colors to overdraw your natural lip shape the result usually looks more native and effortless. Today, we are going to take a look at the NiceFace Nude Lip Pencil Set*, which was kindly sent to me by ToSave store for reviewing purposes.
NiceFace Nude Lip Pencil Set contains 12 beautiful matte lip pencils, they come perfectly sharpened and packed in a box. I prefer traditional wooden pencils, over a twistable plastic design. The reason why I like them better is because you can easily sharpen wooden pencils with a lip liner sharpener, unlike twistable pencils, which usually aren't sharp enough. But, back to the NiceFace lip pencils, here is my personal description for every shade in the set, I hope it will help you understand the color selection a little bit better.
01 Matte cool toned gray color with no shimmer or glitter.
02 Matte cool toned amethyst shade with no shimmer.

04 Matte warm toned light red color with no shimmer or glitter.

The formula of NiceFace lip liners is enriched with cocoa seed butter for an extra smooth application and gentle hydration of the lips. These lip pencils are really easy to work with: they are creamy, smooth and well-pigmented, though I wish they were even more intense. Matte lipsticks and lip pencils always make my dry skin even more flaky, but not these matte pencils.
Before applying lip liner, I suggest to gently exfoliate your lips with a lip scrub and moisturize them with a lip balm. After these simple steps, these nude lip liners will work even better.
Overall, I'm absolutely satisfied with the performance of these nude lip pencils. Some of the lightest shades lack pigmentation, but they have incredible staying power and look fresh on the skin a very long time. Of course, the formula is not long-lasting and once you eat a meal or drink some coffee, lips color tends to smudge. These universal nude shades work for every skin complexion and you can even find a lip color, that perfectly resembles your natural lip shade. Thanks to the versatility of the colors, these lip pencils are also easy to match with a nude lipstick colors I already have. Until next time ♥
Lots of love,
