Hi,
Today's MOTD (makeup of the day) is on my beautiful model.
Muted reds make her blue eyes stand out and are blended across the brow bone.
A tiny amount of black adds depth and creates the smokey eye effect.
Sparkling silver pigment on the lids adds dimension and texture to make the look interesting.
A beautiful color palette to reign in the New Year!
This makeup look is in the style of my favorite technique: smoky eyes! The eyeshadows are perfectly blended and contrasting with the beautiful model's blue eyes.
GET THE LOOK:
Step 1: Fill in and shape the brows. Then apply a muted red eyeshadow and apply across the crease and blend outwards and upwards to diffuse the color across the brow bone.
Step 2: Apply a violet eyeshadow to the outer 1/2 blending into the muted red, creating a gradient effect. Also, swipe across the entire lower lashline.
Step 3: Apply black eyeshadow on the outer 'v' to add depth to the look. Blend into the crease. Smudge onto the outer lower lashline to intensify the smokey eye effect.
Step 4: To the inner 2/3 of the lid, apply a silvery pigment to add that glam factor. Blend!
Step 5: Apply a generous amount of black winged liner on the upper lashline.
Step 6: For a dramatic finish, apply false eyelashes and mascara!
