Has anyone else been as obsessed with the new reboot of America's Next Top Model as I have? That show has always been a serious guilty pleasure of mine and it's so good to have it it back. This look is actually inspired by host Rita Ora's makeup in one of the judging panel sessions (Episode 11).
Honestly, I just thought it was the most gorgeous makeup and so fresh and different from anything I've seen lately. I normally steer away from blue eyeshadows (and cool tones in general) because I don't think they flatter me well, or as well, as warmer colors but I wanted to try this out and I'm really pleased with it!
For this look, you need to really smoke out the edges of the darker blue eyeshadows with a light blue to soften it out nicely. The Pastel Goth palette from Kat Von D Beauty has really been my go to for colorful transitions shades and the shade Doom worked perfectly in this MOTD. I layered a brighter blue shadow (Moonshadow) underneath a darker blue shadow (Claudia) to really amp up the blue on the lid area and create my own navy shade.
