I have just been so busy these days, it's absolutely crazy! I haven't had nearly as much time as I would like to spend doing creative makeup looks and have had to opt for faster, simpler makeup. That's not always a bad thing though, as the classics are classic for a reason.

When I am short on time, my go to look is definitely a classic cat eye paired with a bold lip color. I think when these two are paired together it really makes a statement without putting too much effort into it, or even using that many products.

I also decided to go heavy on the highlight because, why not right? When the rest of the face is so toned down, why not have a little fun? When I want to intensify my highlight I always layer two shades together. I will lay down my first shade before I apply blush so I can blend it together and avoid it looking too stripe-y. Then I will soak my face with some setting spray, and while my skin is still damp apply the second shade. This makes my highlight pop!
