Today I am going talk about Milani Smooth Finish Cream-To-Powder Makeup which is my latest purchase from NYKAA.

If you are not aware of it let me just tell you that NYKAA recently launched Milani Cosmetics. So I was planning to buy the most hyped foundation from Milani Cosmetics i.e, Milani 2 in 1 foundation but somehow I decided to try something new and in powder form so I go with this foundation.

There are 17 shades available in this range but NYKAA has only launched 4 shades as for now I guess and so you can get any shade matching your skin tone. I got Medium Beige which is the closest match to my skintone.

My Take on the Product: I love oil-free products but at the same time I am not a fan of the fully matte look as I feel that my skin looks very dull and lifeless, so I always looks for something which will give me a matte look but with some hydration. Milani powder foundation feels very smooth and has a bit of a creamy texture that glides on smoothly into my skin and is easy to blend. I dab it on my face with the help of the sponge applicator that comes with it and surprisingly the sponge applicator really works. It's very light-weight, will give you a sheer to medium coverage, not going to give high coverage.

But it covers all my imperfections after 2 layers and gives a velvety smooth natural lightweight finish which I love the most it doesn't gives any cakey effect but I was expecting more of a powdered finish since it is a cream to 'powder' product. I finish this product off with a light dusting of translucent powder and love the smooth natural finish. I have a very sweaty, oily skin so it stays for 4 hours but after that I can see some oil near the t-zone area and slightly fading coverage. But overall, I love the finish it gives- an oil free effect with hydration. It will give you a dewy finish and looks great on pics, what else do you need right?! Also, it has a slight sweet scent. Totally appropriate for daily wear.
