This Valentine's day you might be hungover from an awesome date night, an outing with friends, or maybe even hung up on an old flame but no matter your relationship status, embrace the shades of the holiday and sport some fun, vivid pinks and purples in a grungy yet mod technique! In this tutorial I'll show you exactly how to achieve this daring yet sexy look.

YOU WILL NEED:

Urban Decay Eyeshadow in Woodstock/pink shimmer (about $19.00)
Urban Decay Eyeshadow in Gravity/deep violet (about $19.00)
Urban Decay Eyeshadow in Dive Bar/blue violet (about $19.00)
Kat Von D Liquid Liner in Trooper/Black (about $19.00)
Benefit Roller Lash Mascara in Black ( about $24.00)
Too Faced Sweethearts Perfect Flush Blush in Peach (about $30.00)
Sephora Collection Lip Liner to Go in Deep Beige (about $6.00)
Buxom Full On Lipstick in Sydney/pink taupe (about $20.00)

STEP BY STEP TUTORIAL:

1. After you've applied your favorite primer and foundation, apply a vivid pink shade with a hint of shimmer such as Urban Decay's Eyeshadow in Woodstock/pink shimmer to the entire eyelid and the lower lashline. Blend outwards softly. Also add some of this shade to the inner eye area.
2. Apply a deep violet shade such as Urban Decay's Eyeshadow in Gravity/deep violet to the crease and blend outwards making sure not to cover the pink you used on the eyelid entirely. For a grungey look, buff this shade towards the inner eyes subtly. This gives the look more intensity.
3. Apply a pop of intensity by using an indigo shade like Urban Decay Eyeshadow in Dive Bar/blue violet on the outer corner of the bottom lashline of the eyes. Blend into your pink shade on the bottom lashline softly, but leave a good bit of the pink visible on the inner eye.
4. Line your upper eyes with a clean, sharp swipe of black. Kat Von D Liquid Liner in Trooper/Black is precise, clean, and easy to use. Love it! For more intensity, apply some of this subtly to the bottom waterline carefully as well.
5. Apply a clean, curling and volumizing swipe of mascara to the upper lashes with a natural yet plumping product such as Benefit Roller Lash Mascara in Black.
6. Since your eyes are the focus, apply soft, natural blush to the apples of the cheeks. I used Too Faced Sweethearts Perfect Flush Blush in Peach. Blend.
7. Softly line the lips in a deep beige or nude lipliner. I used Sephora Collection Lip Liner to Go in Deep Beige. Blend and buff inwards.
8. Over your liner, apply a soft, pinky taupe lipstick. I am obsessed with Buxom Full On Lipstick. It is amazing! It plumps, tingles, gives an amazing true tone to the lips and is made with good for your skin ingredients. I used the shade Sydney/pink taupe.You're Done!
