In this post I'm going to share with you my current face cleansing routine which I think is very important if you want to have flawless and healthy skin.
I use mostly affordable skincare products, available at drugstores or even supermarkets, but they work extremely well and have my big recommendations!
Removing makeup thoroughly before going to sleep is so, so important! That's why I always make sure to have perfectly cleansed skin and that I have removed all the traces of makeup, before calling it a night.
In my current routine, I remove makeup in 3 simple steps!
Currently as a first step, I use this organic Argan Anti-Aging Cleansing Oil by french brand Lea Nature. This product retails at € 10.99 at my local supermarket. I love how effective it is and also how gentle it is on my face and eyes. It's organic, contains argan oil and has got fantastic anti-aging properties.
The second step is cleansing my skin with micellar water and cotton pads. I love Bioderma micellar water, but recently I tried Garnier micellar water, made for sensitive skin and I love it. It's also super affordable (under € 3, at my local supermarket), which is another plus!
The third step is washing my face with water and some kind of creamy cleanser or face scrub. I don't feel that my face is clean, unless I wash it with water, this is one step I'll never skip!
Currently I'm using this anti-stress creamy cleanser for dry and sensitive skin, by Clinians and it works really well on my skin! It leaves my skin soft and I really feel that it cleanses it well.
Some nights I'll opt for a face scrub and I've been loving this Morning Coffee by Organic Shop. I love how it smells and also the fact that it's not harsh on my skin, yet it gives it that radiance and energized feeling.
Of course, I wash my face with my trusty Clarisonic Mia 2 that I've had for years now and I still use it religiously in my beauty routine.
This product is a bit expensive (cca 150 €, at Sephora) but I've been using it for over 4 years and I think it was a good "beauty investment."
That's it, this is how I remove my makeup!
Don't forget to apply toner, serum and a good night cream and you're ready for bed!
I'd love to hear about your face cleansing routine. Do you remove your makeup with only one product, or do you also follow additional steps to get perfectly clean skin?
