If you are on a budget and you are looking for some fun, festive shades for this season all you need are 2 colors - red and green. Most ladies go for super classic shades, that is not me.

So I decided to show you these 2 festive red and green shades can be quirky and affordable. No need to blow all your money and have nothing left over to buy presents for your friends and family. The perfect solution are nail polishes by the European brand Golden Rose.

First here is Golden Rose Wow! no. 65.

It is a dark red jelly base with micro gold and bright red glitter shards that show up as shimmer on your nails. The best part is that the base is very opaque.

Here, I used 2 layers, but I think I could get away with just one thick coat. It dries a bit on the matte side, so I added a thin coat of top coat to get the shine you see below.

Now I have for you Golden Rose Color Expert no. 94.

This is a dark cold green jelly of pure pigment with incredible shine. For the swatch, I applied 2 coats.

Both polishes have sturdy flat brushes with rounded edges which are very nice for even application and minimizing streaking.
