Hi!!

In addition to my tutorials I thought I'd start to also post reviews of the products I use here and I decided to go with my Glamour Doll Eyes shadows first. I really personally love these shadows and the fact that their sample size is very generous considering the small price.

Each of these shadows are sample sized and I've used them all multiple times during these few months I've had them so you'll probably see what i'm talking about when i say generous.

Let's get on with it shall we :D

Her Revenge

Her Revenge is my one of my faves of the bunch, it's a beautiful slightly metallic shimmery red. It has a very velvety smooth texture that glides on perfectly and the color-payoff is great. The shade is also very true to what you see on the website, a bright & vivid red but not all in-your-face red. I really love it and I won't say a bad thing about it!  I also bet it would look amazing on lips too!

Here's a look I did with a whole lot of Her Revenge:

Mighty Maiden

Mighty Maiden is a soft baby blue with golden & silver shimmer. It's a very lovely shade of aqua that has plenty of shine to it. I've used it on some artsy looks to achieve that blueish sheen. This shadow is part of the GDE Super Shadows range which I'm very much in love with. It's all about superheroes and Mighty Maiden is dedicated to Wonder Woman which alone is a good enough reason for me to wear it haha :D. The texture is very smooth and easy to apply again, no complaints whatsoever!

Here's the lacey eyes makeup tutorial  (see photo below) that I created using Mighty Maiden and that blue sheen I was talking about:

Melancholy

Melancholy is a definite must-have for all blue-lovers! I LOVE blue shades and this is just deliciously blue! The perfect bright aqua-blue with a subtle amount of sheen. It's very pigmented and goes on smooth like a dream. I just can't praise the shade enough, it's perfect! I'm not even sure if my pic does it enough justice. It's also a very unique shade, i have soooo many blues but nothing like this one.

I have absolutely nothing bad to say!

Ialso thought it'd be a perfect shade for my Stitch makeup tutorial (see photo below) and it was <3!! This shade took Stitch to a whole 'nother level of blue :D!

Light Speed

Light Speed is also part of the Super Shadows collection and it's dedicated to The Flash. It's not as bright as it looks to be in the jar but a more subtle orange/peachy shade with golden shimmer. Even though it's not your darkest, brightest orange it's still very unique and eye-catching. I personally was expecting it to be brighter but in the end i really love it like this :). It really makes blue shades pop too! A very interesting shade and AGAIN it's soooo smooth :D I just love it when eyeshadows don't give me trouble haha :D!

Aside from the shade being lighter than i though there is nothing wrong with this one either!

I used this shadow a lot in this look:

Feline Fatale

Feline Fatale is also a Super Shadow dedicated to the Catwoman (of course!!). It' a dark but bright purple with a lot of shimmer & shine. The shade is again very unique, I compared it to a lot of purples I own and didn't find a match. I had tiny little bit of chalkiness issues with this one when applying but nothing a good primer won't fix. The shade is so pretty and come on, we all love Catwoman right :D?

The purple parts in this look (see photo below) are all Feline Fatale:

Cotton Candy

Cotton Candy is from GDE's Circus Collection and it's a pretty bright medium blue with some pink sparkles. It's a very beautiful basic blue shade otherwise but that pink sparkle makes it a bit different. Naturally, my camera doesn't understand what pink sparkle is but in the pic of the shadow in the jar you can see some of it. This is a very pigmented awesome shadow and if you already don't have a similar one, I think this one is a great choice. It goes on perfectly and especially in sunlight, that pink sparkle is amazing!

I haven't done a look yet with this eyeshadow, but it's definitely on my next, to do list :)!

Hope you guys liked this review, I personally love these shadows and I'm planning to get that whole Super Shadows collection :D! These generous sample size jars being only $2.50 each, I think I might be getting a bigger collection of GDE shades real soon :D

Also I love it how their international shipping is fairly priced so ordering just a few jars doesn't get too expensive :).

Prices:

Sample baggie: $1.25

Sample jar (as reviewed above): $2.50

Full jar: $6.00
